I look around at the
bare walls
And remember what
once was;
Filled with
memorabilia
And things I loved.
Now mostly gone,
Trashed or packed in
box;
My things aren't with
me;
I feel so empty.
My life is stretched
over 300 miles;
I wish my world was
smaller.
If I could go back
just once;
To escape this place
that will never be my home.
Don’t think it can
get any worse,
To live where you don’t
belong.
Now I know what it’s
like,
To be a girl with no
home.
