Colors

Unedited
Brown
Is the color of a child’s hair,
the color of life in a baby’s eyes.
Brown brings hope.
Green
Is the color of the tiger’s eye,
The growth of the world.
Green tells of the future.
Pink
Is the color of a gum bubble,
The color of a child’s cheeks after playing in the snow.
Pink is fun.
Yellow
Is the color of the sun,
The color of happiness.
Yellow expresses jubilation.
Purple
Is the color of the sweater being knot by grandma,
The color that paints itself.
Purple is creative.
Gray
Is the color of thunderclouds,
The color of sorrow.
Gray brings death.
Blue
Is the color of our tears,
The color in our god’s skies.
Blue is out vastness.
Orange
Is the color of the oriole,
The color of sweet nectar.
Orange makes us sing.
Black
Is the color of Satan’s eyes,
The color of sin.
Black brings evil.
Red
Is the color of blood,
The color of love,
And so shows our love for our comrades.
White
Is the color of an angels robe,
The color of glory.
White is holy.

Cowboy

Unedited

Cowboy don’t break my heart.

Don’t tell me any lies,

Don’t leave me for another,

Cowboy don’t break my heart.

Cowboy don’t fight anymore.

Don’t duel with the gunslinger,

Don't brawl with the boss,

Cowboy don’t fight anymore.

Cowboy don’t be angry with me.

Don’t ride into the sunrise,

Don’t stay way till sunset,

Cowboy don’t be angry with me.

Cowboy don’t feel lonely.

Don’t drink that shot of whiskey,

Don’t ride that mustang,

Cowboy don’t feel lonely.

Cowboy don’t you love me?

Don’t you want to play that queen of hearts?

Don’t you want to be my man?

Cowboy don’t you love me?

At the Table

Unedited

At the table that stretches across the sky,

All of us that have not already been judged

sit and dine.

But what is it we dine with?

Happiness?

Joy?

Love?

Only we can tell ourselves.

At one end of this never ending table,

Jesus is sitting.

But at the other end,

Is the one who is described in so many ways,

And imagined by so many people.

He who is and will always be,

God.

But are we not condemned?
