Cowboy
Cowboy don’t break my heart.
Don’t tell me any lies,
Don’t leave me for another,
Cowboy don’t break my heart.
Cowboy don’t fight anymore.
Don’t duel with the gunslinger,
Don't brawl with the boss,
Cowboy don’t fight anymore.
Cowboy don’t be angry with me.
Don’t ride into the sunrise,
Don’t stay way till sunset,
Cowboy don’t be angry with me.
Cowboy don’t feel lonely.
Don’t drink that shot of whiskey,
Don’t ride that mustang,
Cowboy don’t feel lonely.
Cowboy don’t you love me?
Don’t you want to play that queen of hearts?
Don’t you want to be my man?
Cowboy don’t you love me?
At the Table
At the table that stretches across the sky,
All of us that have not already been judged
sit and dine.
But what is it we dine with?
Happiness?
Joy?
Love?
Only we can tell ourselves.
At one end of this never ending table,
Jesus is sitting.
But at the other end,
Is the one who is described in so many ways,
And imagined by so many people.
He who is and will always be,
God.
But are we not condemned?
