I just found this on my laptop. I must have written it freshman year of college....
The stars on the window
And the planets hanging
From the bed frame
Glow back at me.
The fur at the foot of the bed
And the silver and gold
In the closet
Lie in my mind.
The trees on my desk
And the leather
Under my bed
Drive me insane.
The rouge in the box
And the silk
On the shelf
Beg me to be.
